बीसीसीआई ने महान बल्लेबाज सचिन तेंडुलकर को वर्ष -2010 के सर्वश्रेष्ठ भारतीय क्रिकेटर के लिए पॉली उमरीगर ट्रॉफी देने का फैसला किया है। तेंडुलकर को यहां 31 मई को चौथे वार्षिक बीसीसीआई पुरस्कारों के दौरान यह ट्रॉफी दी जाएगी। इस समारोह में 28 साल बाद वर्ल्ड कप जीतने वाली टीम इंडिया को भी सम्मानित किया जाएगा।

World number one Lee Chong Wei of Malaysia overcame a spirited challenge from Danish ace Peter Gade to clinch the Indian Open Super Series men's singles title .
In the women's doubles final, Japanese top seeds Miyuki Maeda and Satoko Suetsuna beat compatriots Mizuki Fujii and Reika Kakiiwa 26-24, 21-15.
The mixed doubles, an all-Indonesia affair saw Tantowi Ahmad and Liliyana Natsir defeat Fran Kurniawan and Pia Zebadiah Bernadeth 21-18, 23-21 in the final.
